fire alarm - mobius co
as i plugged in the fan near our bed last night, i had a vision of an electrical fire and my running to the neighbors wrapped in the quilt to look for an extinguisher. then i awoke this morning at 8.15 to the clanging of the fire alarm just over my bed. the first thing i do? unplug the fan. never did find out the reason the alarm went off - most likely someone on the first floor started breakfast and then got into the shower. but what really gets me is that no one seemed really concerned - not even the fireman who eventually showed up.
