are you in that part of alaska where it's either light or dark all day long? (see the movie "insomnia" and tell me how accurate it is.)
im far enough north that around summer solstice it really doesnt get dark. which can be cool, but i have known it to put some people in the psych ward because they arent used to it.
around winter solstice, it does get light but would only be considered 'daytime' for a few hours (like 2). but the sun does rise - unlike some villages farther north that do not see the sun for months at a time. theres a disorder for the lack of daylight - its called SAD.
i kinda dont want to see the movie because i read steven kings book - of which the movie is NOT based on. so while i loved the book, im kind of expecting the movie to be like the book. even though they arent supposed to be.
that didnt make one lick of sense.
