you know, you could always just make your life easier and run trillian...
trillian scares me. i tried it once and it called me bad names and then spit at me, so i uninstalled it.
the interface weirds me out. part of the reason i dont much care for aim or messenger. i really like icqs interface.
and its rude? spitting? we cant have that.
try deviant art for trillian skins. they have one that acts and looks just like icq. i'm using one that almost exactly emulates aim because it's easy for me to figure out.
the older versions of trillian did have a few little bugs, but i've found the latest 3 or so versions to be very stable and easy to use.
