So what's better - a gift given to you from your list of wishes or a gift given that's a complete suprise?

i dont think it matters. the wishlist is primarily for those people who wouldnt be able to hand deliver the gift - like someone who loves reading my site and feels overwhelmingly compelled to shower me with gifts. that sort of thing.
