while you might be thinking that it be entirely possible for someone - say, me - to run home and bake a cake on their lunch break, you would be right.
but just barely.
i was 7 minutes late getting back to work.
Mom's Goofy Cake
3c flour
2c sugar
6T cocoa
1.5t salt
2t baking soda
0.75c vegetable oil
2c water
2T vineagar
2T vanilla
mix together well. i always add more vanilla than any recipe calls for, so feel free to double that amount. bake at 350°F for 40 minutes.

Goofy Cake! rummmmy!
You have no mixing directions. Mix/sift dry ingredients together. Add wet ingredients, mix ONLY until moistened. If you over-mix, the soda will prematurely react with the soda and you will get a stange brownie/taffy/thingy.
