i hate coming back to work after a few days off and finding that not only has someone been on my computer, but they were in my outlook and sent at least one mass mailing with my signature at the bottom. it was most likely my supervisor, but i cant help but feel violated.

I agree. When i come back and someone has been at my desk, and then they've been on my computer. I know it's not officially mine but I feel so violated even if it is the boss. I don't touch her's why must she touch mine ??
What version of windows? If it's 2k, NT or XP you can lock your workstation.
i know i can, but im pretty sure that would be 'frowned upon' in the office. im so low down on the totem that im sure my many supervisors would have a big to do about it.
who cares about the supervisors - password protection baby!
