where i rediscovered the horrors of papercuts under my nails and the complete isolation of an alaskan winter without the internet.

it was awful.
im still shaking.

between just before 1pm and 2.15pm yesterday the cable modem went down. we called gci, and their little recording said it was a city wide cable modem failure.
