physics of a freezer

lets open the floor to a good physics discussion, shall we?
how long will it take for my refrigerator motor to burn out if i open the freezer door and place the fan directly in front of it on its highest power to cool me down?

A fairly long time, but it's also not horribly efficient.
The problem is that the cooling array for a freezer works off the premise that air is not circulating. Fridges actually make really crappy A.C.'s since they're only designed to cool down a very small, heavily insulated location.
What you REALLY want is to cool major blood spots in order to dissapate heat. You can do this by either sitting in icewater (not really recommended) or simply soaking wrists or ankles in cool water. Surprisingly effective.
Plus you can use your fridge to make the ice for the bucket.
(Also removing humidity and increasing airflow are also nice options, but really hard to do when the weather won't cooperate.)
sadly, i know it wouldnt be very efficient. but desperate times call for desperate measures.
maybe ill go buy one of those chest freezers and camp out in it. or the car; it has AC. that would probably be more comfortable.
