RSS 0.91, RSS 2.0, Atom 0.3, AND Windows CDF. If you're not reading me, it's not my fault. (well, actually, it's probably because I'm a droning nerd, but I'm sure that's beside the point.) Now, I just needt to work not that charming, witty, gorgeous bits...
Amen. I have 200+ feeds in my aggregator. I do not have time to check 200+ websites daily just to see whether there are new posts. This means, without a feed, I'll check your site only if I really, really like you, and *then* only when I remember. (Which won't be often, because I'm busy reading 200 other people's content.)
Oh, and please make your feed full-text. Otherwise, you're just forcing me back into the browser, aren't you? No good. If you're trying to force people to see your Google Ads against their will, you probably don't have content I want to read anyway. Tim Bray does the teaser thing in his feed, and even though I respect him and think he has a lot of good things to say, I rarely read him.

Fair enough. However, a good aggregator will always give you a link to the original page for the post, so you can still choose to view the page even with a full-text post. The user should have the option, and with a teaser, s/he doesn't (other than the option of whether to read the post at all).
point. its just a bit of incentive for me to actually visit their site. if ive got the full content, i often wont.
