im not really understanding these mt rss templates.
i know what i want it to look like in the aggregator, but i dont know how to go about doing that with the template.
but then, is each aggregator so different that it doesnt matter how i format the template?

Don't worry about how things look like in the aggregator. Many strip out most of the formatting and present just the text (and maybe a few links).
...and that's exactly how it *should* be. If people want to see beautiful formatting, they'll come to your site. People use an aggregator because they *want* your posts stripped down to the bare essentials, which means plain text, hyperlinks, and images (but only when those images are content, as in, "look at this picture of my new car" -- not decoration, as in, "here's a brightly colored button you can click to go to my site, even though a text link would have done just as well").
i suppose 'formatting' was the wrong word to use.
im having problems with my fragments rss feed. im using the 'title' field for the link name, the 'entry body' field for the link, the 'extended entry' field for the via link, and the 'excerpt' field for my witty comments.
i want the feed to show the title of the link, with the href being the link itself, not the permalink to my post. i then want the 'body' of the feed to show my witty comments. the problem i cant seem to solve is how to get my witty comments to show.
I can't help you there. I can only say that *if* I ever get my weblog software finished, I'll do my best not to give people these kinds of problems.
