thanks, i already checked with them (they only have the black, and we need the three other colors). theres this new stupid policy at work where we need at least three quotes before making a purchase on items over $100, so i need quotes from numerous different companies. and i have encountered this 'we dont give shipping prices unless you sign over your firstborn child' policy on way too many sites.

i bought from a company that had free shipping (i think it was http://www.printpal.com) but i'm not positive. the site looks different, but it's been 3 months or so. the name sounds right though

feeling sheepish...it was http://www.pacificink.com. but i had to sign up in their "club" if i remember correctly. unfortunately, i don't.

i suggested that instead of buying a color laser printer, we should upgrade our xerox lease to a color printer/copier. and for the larger quantity stuff he was thinking of using it for, we really should be getting it done at a professional printer.

but no, he went ahead and bought it at sams club, thinking we would save a ton of money. not only are we unable to get toner cartridges in town, but the stupid thing has completely broke down twice because we bought it at sams club.

gah.

So you need black, yellow, magenta and cyan cartridges? If I refer to these two sites, I see that those will cost you about $100 *more* than another entire printer of the same type. You might point this fact out to your boss.

If you want to mess with a refill kit instead of carts, you can save quite a bit of money (sounds like your boss will appreciate it), and these guys will ship it to you for a flat $4.50, or free for a total order over $80. Don't forget to stock up on rubber gloves.

since refilling the toner would most likely fall into my duties, i would rather cut off my pinky toe (which is rather cute) than refill toner.
