tingly cheeks

i just spent 45 minutes strolling through downtown oohing and ahhing at the old buildings while the sun got dangerously close to setting and all of the dark clouds exited stage right.

it was warm enough to not need to zip up my jacket and still bright enough to need my sunglasses. my cheeks are tingly and my denim-clad thighs are cold.

what more could a girl want?

3 Love Notes

Tingly cheeks and cold thighs doesn't sound like everything a girl wants, but what do I know.

I love looking at old buildings and we have our fair share of them here on Staten Island.

It's amazing the detail on the overhangs, window sills and trim. Something you don't see on the buildings thrown up today. It's a shame.

the old buildings in alaska arent very old at all; they were built in the early 1900s during the numerous gold rushes. they were thrown up in a hurry and now are very, very delapidated. still fun to look at, but not in the same way as the old buildings on the east coast.
