John and His Mushrooms

Ah, 1974. Shortly after this photo was taken, John learned that there are better, more lucrative things to do with poisonous mushrooms (oh yes, we can play that game).

And just to round things out a bit, here is a family portrait from 1985.

12 Love Notes

Aww, what a cute boy!

Great photo's...these are new to me. I can't believe I have never seen that family picture, great comments....work it...gir.

Oh yeah ...you have his eyes. I thought that photo above was you!!

HAHAAH! Nice burn, Heidi.
what a little punk.Time has healed MOST of these wounds - some of us, however, can't seem to shake a "little sister" attitude.

grudgingly yours,

There is definately a strong family resemblance around the eyes...
Such a cute kid - and such a pretty mushroom!

Someone tell me: who is the dog in the background?

John says the dog (can't remember the name Tiffy? maybe) loved the kids. He would follow them around.

I love his eye's, so don't listen to him, the big butt.

I just noticed the date though...I was only one. John's a cradle robber HAHA!!

Mom to the rescue - the dogs name was Rusty and he was my weiner dog that I brought to Alaska, when I got married.

Thanks, Mom. Rusty looks just like a Chihuahua in that photo.

I thought that was "Rascal". The runaway dog?

You forgot to mention that the mushroom is very poisionous. Just what J always went for - excitement (especially when he brought it to me and said, "look what I found".

Sorry, guess you did mention poison.
