Now I'm faced with a possible trip to Homer for an imminent funeral.
Everyone say a prayer for Aunt Judy, as Uncle Dave likely will not survive the weekend.

I feel for Aunt Judy - and Stacy. He's better off with the angels, probably. I don't think I can get out of responsibilities this weekend to go down. If you need a couch to crash mid-range, we enjoy your company.
I can't get out of town this weekend either. I don't know what I would be able to do down there anyway, but thanks for the offer, not that I ever need one.
I have been feeling a trip home coming on, this winter has been a hard one. Everyone will be in my thoughts, as I wait for spring.
I was hoping and praying that he lasts just a little longer so I can be back for at least a funeral. I get home in a week from today.
I cried when mom called and told me.
So many good memories, remember the trick when he would pull out the $5 bill from behind our ears before I girl shopping trips....
