The sun has been hot and bright and summery in between our daily does of thunderstorms, thunderstorms with all of the rain causing sinkholes! As if our land has never seen this wet stuff before.

we've been having thunderstorms too. and lots of rain. to the point where the water that runs through the locks right by my work were about a foot away from overflowing the banks. water that is normally about 4 feet below the edge.
