Man-Killer Brownies

2/3c. stick butter
5oz. unsweetened baking chocolate, cut into pieces
1¾c. sugar
2t. vanilla
3 large eggs
1c. flour
1c. chopped walnuts

Pre-heat oven to 350°F. Grease bottom and sides of a square pan, 9 x 9 x 2, with shortening.

Melt the butter and chocolate in 1-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly. Cool slightly.

Beat sugar, vanilla, and eggs in medium bowl with electric mixer on high for 5 minutes.
