Two Posts a Month Should Do It

All I can say is: Holy Cow I Sure Am Busy!

Which doesn't say much at all.
I know that; you know that.
I know that you know that.
So let's move on.

Thursday and Friday last week I was in Juneau for work. There was a lot of turnover in the division this summer, and I think we're starting to recover. I was able to meet with all of the new people and most of the old coworkers, and it was a really good trip. While I was there, I organized the first ever Juneau Tweetup, and got to meet Juneau people on Twitter. Which was so awesome.

The weekend previous, my friend Matt and I drove out to Hatcher Pass and spent the morning snapping photos and contemplating trespassing, enjoying the sunny but cold Independence Mine tourist-free. The gates were closed and we had to hike a bit to get there, but it was a great trip.

I've made pizza and made preparations against an imminent zombie attack. I've cheered on some roller derby and saw zombies do the Thriller dance. I've added items to wishlists and tried on shoes.

It's been a pretty good October.
