Patterns
2009
I spent the weekend overhauling my computer. It looks the same, but the case is the only part I kept: new motherboard, processor, power supply, hard drive, graphics card, memory. Saturday afternoon I pulled out all of my old hardware and put in all of the new hardware. Then Saturday evening I installed a fresh copy of Windows 7. There was one small hiccup Sunday morning that required I restore to a previous version, but since then it's going quite well.
And oh, the sheer speed of this thing. I no longer have to queue a bunch of photos and then find something to do for 20 minutes while they process. It's SUPA FAST.
Valette: apparently I had two Music folders backed up
Valette: one from last night and one from 2008
Valette: guess which one I restored?
Steve: I just edited out a fart noise.
Steve: I played it for you but you weren't listening.
Valette: purposefully
I'm spending Veteran's Day finishing processing client photos, ignoring my promise to take Olive to the dog park because it's blizzarding out there holy cow, and getting distracted by pretty dresses.

Valette has lived in Alaska all of her life and loves the ocean, being barefoot, the way Steve eats fried rice, and snorgling Olive's neck fur.
